Nicolaiskolan is a high school characterized by innovation and good traditions. The school has a solid Economics program along with a rich aesthetic program where all specializations are represented. Furthermore, the well-established Hairdressing and Styling program and the newly started Sales and Service program and Design and Sewing Technology education are additional parts of the school's activities. The Introduction program and our adapted upper secondary school are other important pillars of our operations. Together, these various programs form a dynamic school.

We are looking for someone who wants to create social value, for young people who have their sights set on a specific profession, but also for young people who do not yet have a clear plan. Your role is to show the way by inspiring and educating the workforce of the future. You translate your professional knowledge into practical, pedagogical, work-like educational moments where theory and practice interact. In planning and individualizing teaching, you use the everyday life and culture of young people, alternative learning tools, current research, and a scientific basis. You reflect individually and together with colleagues on the work, with the aim of constantly developing both pedagogically and professionally. Furthermore, you assess, analyze, and document the individual student's needs and results, where assessment from APL is taken into account.

We are looking for someone who is a licensed and qualified teacher in program-specific subjects for the Sales and Service program. You will belong to the Sales and Service team where you collaborate with a team of experienced and engaged teachers. You will be a mentor for a group of students. We prefer that you have several years of experience in teaching and mentoring at the high school level, but great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
